Ambrosia County
Leonida's agricultural interior, built around the town of Ambrosia and the sugar industry. Farm country in the middle of the state.
Ambrosia County is the farming middle of Leonida, taking its name from the town of Ambrosia at its centre. Rockstar's framing of the area leans on sugar: fields, processing, and the money and labour that come with it, which is a direct read on Florida's inland sugar belt.
The county name surfaced in an official Rockstar screenshot of Ambrosia, on a road sign for the Ambrosia County Sheriff's Office. That makes it one of the better-sourced county names, since it comes from a still Rockstar published itself rather than from footage that had to be paused and squinted at.
Hendry County is the usual real-world comparison, a rural inland county built on sugarcane. The county also takes in Lake Leonida, the game's version of Lake Okeechobee.
