Privacy policy

ViceLeonida (https://viceleonida.com) is an unofficial Grand Theft Auto VI fan site. We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

• Launch email list. If you sign up for launch updates, we store your email address so we can contact you about GTA 6 and the site.
• Accounts. If you create an account, we store your email address, your username, and your sign-in method (email and password, or Google). Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and we never see them.
• Progress and game data. Signed-in users have their tracker progress and crime game data (stats, items, crews, leaderboard entries, and market listings) saved to their account.
• Chat. Messages you post in the crime game chat are stored and visible to other players, along with your username.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, how long visits last, the general region a visit comes from, and device and browser type. This uses cookies and similar identifiers. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the site.

Some features also save data in your browser's local storage, like your budget game high score and tracker progress when you are signed out. That data stays on your device.

We use or may use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to show ads on this site. These companies may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Trailer pages show a thumbnail first. The YouTube player only loads after you click play, and it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) mode. Once it loads, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

We use your information to run the site, save your progress, operate the crime game, send launch updates you asked for, measure traffic, and show ads. We do not sell your personal information. Data is stored with Google Firebase, which processes it on our behalf. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. To unsubscribe from the email list, have your account and its data deleted, or ask what we hold about you, email us at the address below and we will handle it within 30 days.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to use them.

GTA 6 is a mature-rated game and this site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site changes, for example when new features or ad partners are added. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
