Take-Two held its Q1 FY2027 earnings call on August 7, the morning after Rockstar announced the Netflix Extended Look. CEO Strauss Zelnick described GTA 6 pre-order demand as unprecedented and astonishing, said the numbers had vastly exceeded the company's own internal forecasts, and declined to name a figure. Guidance did not move, and he explained why in one line: nobody has bought anything yet.
