Washington Beach
A Vice City beachfront neighborhood officially named in Rockstar's GTA 6 Ultimate Edition description. The edition's bonus Shitzu Squalo speedboat is docked there, and the name is a direct return from GTA Vice City (2002), where Washington Beach sat at the center of the beach island between Ocean Beach and Vice Point.
Washington Beach is named in Rockstar's own Ultimate Edition copy, which reads: "Perfect for casting in Gambit Bay and reeling in catches of all sorts, this gradient pink and blue Squalo docked at Washington Beach is made open-ocean-ready with an explosives-laden weapons crate." That single line is the whole official record so far, and it does two things at once: it puts a named neighborhood on the map and it puts Gambit Bay within reach of a boat kept there. The description ran on the PlayStation Store listing and was quoted in Kotaku's Ultimate Edition guide when pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026.
The name carries real history in the series. In 2002's GTA Vice City, Washington Beach was the middle district of the beach island, wedged between Ocean Beach to the south and Vice Point to the north. It was the smallest district in the city, only a few blocks deep, but it held two places every player passed through: the Washington Beach Police Station, headquarters of the VCPD and the only enterable police station in the game, and the Hotel Harrison, whose ground floor housed Ken Rosenberg's law office. The Washington Mall sat on its border with Ocean Beach. Whether the GTA 6 version keeps any of that geography, or just the name, is unconfirmed until launch.
