Cyberleek Announces an End to Its GTA 6 Leak Campaign After the Meme Coin Falls Short of the $30 Million Target

Cyberleek posted a three-part statement on October 14 announcing it is done leaking. The group's meme coin did not reach its $30 million market cap goal, and the statement closes: "The Edict stands. The leeks stop here. For now." Kotaku and wolfsgamingblog both reported the statement the same day.

Cyberleek posted a three-part statement on October 14 announcing the end of its campaign. Kotaku and wolfsgamingblog both covered it the same day. The core of the statement is direct: the meme coin tied to the campaign did not reach its $30 million market cap target. "The 30M was not reached, so no build," the statement reads. wolfsgamingblog put the coin at around $1.03 million at the time of publication. The statement ends: "The Edict stands. The leeks stop here. For now."

Cyberleek addressed the rug pull charge directly. The group says it sold tokens twice and withdrew only the trading fees it had announced in advance, calling the token "always a donation, never an investment." Logistics are also cited: uploading more than 200GB of data anonymously carries serious risk, which the statement gives as a secondary reason for holding back the build.

A roughly four-minute clip was posted alongside the statement showing Lucia getting a haircut at a barbershop and robbing the till, playing pool at a bar, and browsing a clothing shop. A location visible in the footage is labelled Key Lento. The statement also warns that a dead man's switch is active and covers story spoilers only, with a condition attached: "Left alone, it never fires. Whoever removes CL chooses it." Take-Two has pursued the group with federal subpoenas since August and has not commented. GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
