Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17 2026, two months before the game's November 19 launch. The album contains 34 original tracks, six of which went live the day of the announcement. The remaining 28 are unrevealed ahead of launch. Physical pre-orders are open in three formats: a standard CD at $19.98, a standard double vinyl at $49.98, and a limited-edition vinyl at $124.98. Digital pre-saves are available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
The six tracks released on day one cover a wide stylistic range. Travis Scott contributes 'RHYNO,' produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Yung Lean, Future, and Metro Boomin share credit on 'That's It.' Five artists appear together on 'Sexy Magic': CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., and Etienne de Crécy. Morgan Wallen delivers 'Last Thing You Need.' Rauw Alejandro contributes 'Macacoa 2000.' Keith Richards closes the initial run with 'Bright Lights, Big City.' None of the six have been assigned to a specific in-game radio station by Rockstar.
The announcement followed two days of coordinated activity. On September 15 at least ten artists, including contributors to all six opening tracks, posted GTA 6-themed images on their social media in what outlets including GTA BOOM and Kotaku described as a planned Rockstar campaign. On September 16 Spotify posted photos of GTA 6 billboards in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami carrying artwork matching those posts, signaling a streaming arrangement that neither Spotify nor Rockstar has formally described. Whether any of the album's artists appear in the game in roles beyond their music credits has not been announced.
