The Ocean View Hotel has appeared in official Rockstar materials for GTA 6. Its neon sign is visible in Trailer 1 (December 2023) at approximately the 0:33 mark, on a palm-lined street in what is likely Ocean Beach. The sign then appeared in exclusive art Rockstar created for Bloomberg Businessweek's October 14, 2026 feature on the making of GTA 6: the art shows a green supercar parked outside the hotel beneath its pink neon sign. GTAIntel reported the Bloomberg image on October 14, 2026.
In GTA Vice City (2002), the Ocean View Hotel sits in Ocean Beach, the southernmost district of Vice City Beach. Tommy Vercetti starts the game there, and it serves as the player's first safehouse until more properties can be purchased. Whether the hotel plays any similar role in GTA 6, whether players can enter it, or what part it serves in the story is unconfirmed until launch.
