Every piece of official GTA 6 footage keeps coming back to the same image: Lucia and Jason working a robbery together. The first trailer ends on the two of them masked up and moving through a store with weapons drawn, and the word that anchors the scene is trust. Rockstar has framed the whole game around a couple whose relationship is tested by the scores they pull, which puts robbery at the center of the story rather than in side missions.
The infamous 2022 leak, which Rockstar later confirmed was real in-development footage, included a sequence of the pair robbing a diner. That clip matched the tone of the trailers so closely that Rockstar itself has since referenced it: a painting added to GTA Online's Kortz Center Heist in July 2026, titled Trust, depicts a couple robbing a diner. The company clearly considers the two-hander stick-up the signature image of this game.
What Rockstar has not shown is the mechanical side: whether GTA 6 uses GTA V's setup-crew-approach heist structure, something more freeform, or a new system entirely. Payouts, planning, and crew mechanics are all unconfirmed until launch.
