Store and bank robberies are a repeatable system, not just set pieces. Speed against take, safes you can blow or crack, back exits, and police who will surround the building and wait for you to walk out.
The Extended Look showed store robberies as a core free-roam activity with a consistent set of trade-offs, and the July preview coverage summarised by Vice filled in the rules. The central choice is speed against value: blowing a safe is faster but damages what is inside, while finding the combination takes longer and keeps the full take. Time spent inside raises the chance police arrive, and when they do they can surround a store or bank and wait for Jason and Lucia to come outside. Many locations have a secondary exit for exactly that situation.
