Key Lento is an island in the Leonida Keys, the chain trailing south from the Leonida mainland in GTA 6, inside Mariana County. The name comes from the leaked Leonida map that surfaced with the first Cyberleek gameplay clips on August 18 2026. Rockstar has not used it in any official material. Fan wikis and community mappers treat it as the largest island in the chain, the stand-in for Key Largo at the top of the real Florida Keys.
The name reads as a pun on Key Largo. The real island's name comes from the Spanish Cayo Largo, meaning long key. But largo is also an Italian tempo marking in music meaning slow and broad, and lento is the tempo marking for slow. Swapping one for the other keeps the sound of the real name while changing the word.
Community mappers place Brian's Boat Works and Marina on Key Lento, which would make it the island where Jason Duval lives at the start of the story. What else the island contains, including missions, interiors, and other businesses, is unconfirmed. Everything here rests on a leaked, unfinished build and community mapping, not on anything Rockstar has said.
