Mariana County

The southwestern county holding Grassrivers and the Leonida Keys. Wetlands, water and island highway rather than city blocks.

Sighting · Trailer 2, Interstate 404 sign at 2:28

Mariana County covers the southwest and south of the state, which puts two of Leonida's six official regions inside it: Grassrivers, the Everglades-style wetland, and the Leonida Keys, the island chain trailing off the bottom of the map. That makes it the county with the least pavement and the most water.

The name reads on the Interstate 404 sign in Port Gellhorn in Trailer 2, at roughly the 2:28 mark, next to Vice-Dale County. Its real-world analogue is Monroe County, which contains both the Everglades and the Florida Keys, the same pairing.

For play, this is the boat and airboat half of the map. Jason lives on Brian Heder's property in the Keys, so a good share of the early story is likely to run through here.
