Vice City
Rockstar's neon take on Miami and the beating heart of Leonida, back for the first time since 2002. The most detailed city Rockstar has ever built.
Vice City is the anchor of GTA 6: a modern reimagining of Miami with beaches, Art Deco strips, high-rise skylines, ports, and dense residential blocks. Rockstar's materials frame it as the biggest and most detailed city the studio has ever built, and nearly every officially named character ties back to it somehow, from Boobie Ike's business empire and the Jack of Hearts club to the rappers Dre'Quan Priest and the Real Dimez.
Officially named neighborhoods have started to surface through Rockstar's own materials. Stockyard, the mural-covered street-art district, was confirmed through the Ultimate Edition shop reveals, and hosts both Stock 305 and Electric Fang Tattoo. Expect the neighborhood list on this page to grow as Rockstar names more of the city.
This is also the series' first return to Vice City since 2002, twenty-four years and two console generations later. The 2002 game is one of the most loved entries in the franchise, which is a big part of why the setting reveal landed the way it did.
