RockstarINTEL reported additional details from the footage: the item wheel includes a flashlight and binoculars, and using the binoculars near NPCs causes them to react to being watched. The clip ends with a cutscene rather than more gameplay. Jason is at a beach bar and tells a companion he needs to use the restroom. The scene cuts to a men's bathroom, where a scruffy NPC delivers what RockstarINTEL describes as a poetic monologue about a past relationship, with language about the sea. Jason listens and responds with skepticism. It is the first clip in the series to end on ambient conversational writing rather than action.
Cyberleek has now posted eight clips since August 18. Its main domain was blocked on August 22 and now returns a content policy notice, but the group hosts on the decentralized Arweave network and keeps spinning up replacement addresses, which is how clips seven and eight went out. The advertising page that ran before the block asked roughly $165,000 in Monero for an initial sponsorship conversation. Take-Two's subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord for account data linked to the group run until September 4. The Netflix Extended Look premieres August 27 at 3 PM ET, and Rockstar has still made no public statement on the leaks.
