When Rockstar posted the Goodtime State Vice City Collection for pre-order on September 24, the store image included a visible portion of the double-sided Leonida map poster at a zoom level that left location labels readable along the edges. Community members on X spotted the names the same day and shared them. Notebookcheck reported the find on September 25. Two location names were fully legible: Sandbars and Crude Islands. Two additional labels were visible but cut off by the edge of the frame, beginning with the characters 'Dra' and 'Beld.' The full names behind those fragments were not readable before the image was updated.
Community map researchers had previously identified a location called Draper Island from Port Gellhorn footage that predates the collector's box reveal, and connected that name to the 'Dra' fragment, per Notebookcheck. That connection is community speculation, not a Rockstar confirmation. The 'Beld' fragment has no known full name. Rockstar updated the promotional image after the labels were spotted, removing all four while keeping the island outlines on the map.
The double-sided Leonida map poster is one of eleven items in the collector's box, which ships November 19. Whether Rockstar removed the labels because the names are finalized but held for a later reveal, or because the store image drew from an earlier version of the poster, has not been explained. GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
