GTA Online's new event week runs August 13 to 19, and the Brand Wars event wrapped around it runs two weeks, through August 26. The premise is a soda rivalry: pick Team Sprunk or Team eCola and collect the themed gear for your side. Link your Twitch and Rockstar Games accounts, watch Drops-enabled streams during the window, and Team Sprunk players can claim the Sprunk Sweatsuit while Team eCola players get the eCola Tracksuit, with up to GTA$2,000,000 on offer across the campaign.
The free items do not need Twitch at all. Sprunk and eCola Bodysuits are free to claim at all Clothing Stores, and the Declasse Hotring Sabre is free from Southern San Andreas Super Autos, a sports car that normally runs GTA$830,000. Logging in this week also gets you the Sprunk x eCola livery for that same Hotring Sabre, so the free car and the free paint for it arrive together.
On payouts, Hotring Circuit Series races, Freemode Events and Freemode Challenges all pay 4X GTA$ and RP. Select Odd Jobs pay 3X, specifically Paper Route, Firefighter, Forklift Operator, QuickiePharm and Safeguard Deliveries, and the Community Series pays 3X as well. Rockstar has also reset weekly completion bonuses across a range of heists and missions, which means the first-time-this-week payout is available again on jobs you already ran. That reset is usually worth more than the multipliers if you have the time for a heist.
Nerdschalk's breakdown of the update adds a few things worth knowing: this week's challenge is three Business Battles for GTA$250,000 and the Impotent Rage Sweatsuit, the Gun Van is carrying a free Unholy Hellbringer, GTA+ members get early access to the Gallivanter Warden, and vehicle discounts run up to 40 percent, with the Karin Hotring Everon and the Bravado Hotring Hellfire both at that top tier. Rockstar has not listed a public price for the Warden yet.
