Rockstar Cut GTA Online Heist Payouts by Up to 40 Percent With Update 1.73

The Kortz Center Heist's confirmed payout numbers are out after a day of play, and Update 1.73 also brought significant cuts to the base payout tables for Cayo Perico, the Diamond Casino Heist, and the Doomsday Heist.

With the Kortz Center Heist now live, the actual numbers are in. The primary target, a painting called La Dernière Débauche, pays GTA$1,925,000. A solo run or small crew finishes with GTA$2,000,000 to GTA$2,250,000 if secondary targets are secured; a full four-player team taking every exhibit can clear up to GTA$7,143,000. Rockstar described the heist as the highest-paying in GTA Online history, and the top-end figure supports that, though reaching it requires a full crew collecting every exhibit in the museum. A second run in the same week drops to roughly GTA$400,000. The host also needs to own a Mansion and the new Art Studio expansion before the heist is accessible.

The same patch that delivered the Kortz Center cut base payouts on older heists across the board. Cayo Perico's Pink Diamond dropped from GTA$1,300,000 to GTA$910,000 and Bearer Bonds went from GTA$770,000 to GTA$616,000. The Diamond Casino Heist saw its Diamond target fall from GTA$3,300,000 to GTA$2,300,000, and Gold from GTA$2,600,000 to GTA$1,800,000. Doomsday Heist Act 1 was cut from GTA$975,000 to GTA$585,000, and Act 2 from GTA$1,400,000 to GTA$855,000. The reductions range from around 20 to 40 percent depending on the target. RockstarINTEL, Sportskeeda, and Beebom all reported the changes after players compared pre-update and post-update payout tables.

Rockstar did not mention the payout cuts in the Update 1.73 patch notes or in the Newswire post announcing the Kortz Center Heist. The studio separately added weekly first-completion bonuses to several older heists including Doomsday and the Diamond Casino Heist, which can offset the base cut for one run per week but not for repeat completions. Cayo Perico, the most-farmed heist in GTA Online because of how quickly it runs solo, was not given a weekly bonus and absorbed the full reduction. Rockstar has not responded to community feedback or explained the reasoning behind the cuts.
