Rockstar announced the Kortz Center Heist on June 17 via the Newswire under the title 'The Next Big Score.' The update lands July 14 on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and last-gen consoles. It is the first proper heist added to GTA Online since the Cayo Perico Heist in December 2020. To access it, you need a Mansion property with the Art Studio extension added. From there you scope the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs, pick your approach, and run the heist solo or with a crew of up to four.
Before July 14 there are free rewards on the table. Rockstar's Fine Art Collector Program runs through July 13: log into GTA Online during the window and you get GTA$500,000 plus a free Benefactor Turreted Limo from Warstock. Complete any heist by July 13 and you earn another GTA$1,000,000 and the NOOSE Outfit, bringing the total to GTA$1,500,000. Mansion owners who log in also get a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio upgrade plus a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter when the update lands. These are the kind of pre-event bonuses Rockstar runs when it wants players back in the game before a big drop.
This is widely expected to be the last significant content update GTA Online receives before GTA 6 launches on November 19. Rockstar has run GTA Online for nearly 13 years, and with GTA 6 approaching, large-scale updates are not coming after this one. If you want to see out the GTA 5 era with a proper heist, July 14 is the moment.
