The Miami Heat Will Host a Vice City Night on November 18, Playing the Bucks One Day Before GTA 6 Launches

Rockstar and the Miami Heat announced on October 2 that the Heat will play as Vice City for one game on November 18, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center with custom Vice City uniforms, a new court design, and a Vice City merchandise line. The game tips off at 7 PM ET on ESPN.

Rockstar and the Miami Heat announced 'A Night in Vice City' on October 2: on November 18, the night before GTA 6 ships, the Heat will play the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center in Miami as Vice City. "For one night only, the HEAT trade Miami for Vice City," the team's announcement reads. Tip-off is at 7 PM ET, broadcast nationally on ESPN and locally on Local 10.

The event includes a custom court design and a reimagined Heat uniform created for the occasion. Neither has been publicly shown yet, and the team says more details are coming in the next few weeks. A Vice City merchandise line launched alongside the announcement through the Miami Heat Store, with additional items expected to be revealed later.

The Heat's arena is already part of Rockstar's Miami marketing push. A Vice City sign went up on the Kaseya Center roof in September, through a private deal between Basketball Properties and Rockstar. The November 18 game takes that further, putting the brand on national television for a prime-time NBA matchup less than 24 hours before GTA 6 goes on sale. GTA 6 launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
