Sony announced the GTA 6 Limited Edition DualSense controllers on September 3, adding two new pieces of hardware to the November 19 launch window. The Black Limited Edition and the White Limited Edition are both priced at $84.99 in the US and £74.99 in the UK. Engadget's September 3 report details the design: a gray Roman numeral 'VI' carrying Rockstar's official branding on the touchpad, hot pink detailing on the face buttons and D-pad, an iridescent blue lower portion on the grips, and embossed palm frond texture on the handles. The color scheme takes directly from Vice City's Miami palette. Sony frames the White edition as Vice City at daybreak, with its white sands and pastel skies, and the Black edition as the city's nightlife.
Pre-orders open September 10 at 7:00 AM PT (10:00 AM ET) in the US, and 10:00 AM local time in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Sony's PlayStation Blog post says both controllers go up through direct.playstation.com in limited quantities, with free launch day delivery on eligible pre-orders placed there. Some outlets have reported the Black edition as a PlayStation Direct exclusive with the White edition going wider; Sony has not said that, and Insider Gaming's buying guide notes no retailer has listed either one yet. Broader retail availability may come closer to launch.
Both controllers ship November 19 alongside the game. At $84.99, they cost roughly five dollars more than GTA 6's $79.99 Standard Edition, making them a realistic add-on for players already buying the game at launch. GTA 6 arrives November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. No Xbox equivalent controller has been announced.
