Back Country Radio appeared in the station list during the August 20 crop duster clip. Two songs have been attributed to it: Glen Campbell's Rhinestone Cowboy from 1975 and George Strait's The Fireman from 1984. Both are catalog country rather than anything modern, which suggests the station is built as a classics outlet rather than a contemporary country format.
Country has had a place on the GTA dial before, most prominently Rebel Radio in GTA V, so a country station in a game set across rural Leonida as well as Vice City is unsurprising. Other country tracks have surfaced across the leaks without being tied to a specific station, including Waylon Jennings's Waymore's Blues and Tammy Wynette's Talkin' to Myself Again, either of which could plausibly sit here. Nothing about the station is officially announced, and the footage comes from an unfinished build.
