Airboating
Airboating is confirmed as a GTA 6 leisure activity in Game Informer Issue 382. Trailer 1 shows an airboat crossing the Grassrivers wetlands, and Rockstar's own description of Back Country Radio characterises it as airboat-ready renegade country.
Airboating was named in the confirmed GTA 6 activity roster published by Game Informer in Issue 382 on September 29 2026. Vice and Insider Gaming both covered the activity list from the same issue. Trailer 1 shows an airboat crossing Grassrivers, the game's Everglades-inspired wetland region, and Rockstar's own Grassrivers description calls the gators 'the most famous attraction' there. Rockstar's description of Back Country Radio, confirmed on October 8 2026, characterises the station as airboat-ready renegade country broadcast across the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn, which ties the activity directly to those regions.
Beyond the activity name and its clear home in the Grassrivers wetlands, the official record is limited. How airboating is entered as a leisure activity, whether it involves guided routes, races, or open exploration, and how the boats are obtained are all unconfirmed until launch.
