Criminal Profile
A reputation track that remembers how Jason and Lucia behave over time, from needless violence to petty things like where they throw their trash. Unlike a wanted level, it does not reset when the police give up.
Alongside the wanted system, the Extended Look introduced a Criminal Profile that builds from how the player behaves in free roam and in missions. Rockstar's description, quoted by Vice, says patterns of behavior can influence how Leonida's residents react to Jason and Lucia. It tracks unnecessary violence and property destruction, but also small everyday actions, with proper trash disposal given as an example. Violence that a mission requires does not automatically count against you, and efficient robberies and successful crimes improve your standing.
It functions as GTA 6's answer to the Honor system in Red Dead Redemption 2, and the leaked August 18 footage had already shown a purple devil icon with a minus symbol when Jason attacked a man who could not fight back. The Extended Look also showed a karma response to smaller choices, such as petting a dog. Exactly what the profile unlocks or locks, whether it has visible tiers, and whether Jason and Lucia keep separate profiles are unconfirmed.

Frequently asked
What is the Criminal Profile in GTA 6?+
A reputation system shown in the Extended Look on August 27 2026. It records how Jason and Lucia behave, including unnecessary violence and small everyday choices, and Rockstar says Leonida's residents react to the patterns. Unlike a wanted level, it persists after the police stop looking.
Does GTA 6 have an honor system like Red Dead Redemption 2?+
Close to it. The Criminal Profile plays the same role, tracking behaviour over time rather than per crime. Mission-required violence does not count against you, but needless violence and property damage do.
