Downtime in Leonida

GTA 6 activities

What there is to do when nobody is shooting at you. Here is every side activity Rockstar has shown, and what each one has not yet told us.

Rockstar's Extended Look on August 27 2026 spent a long montage on downtime: racing on a real circuit, dirt bikes, kayaks, scuba diving, basketball, a bench press worked with the triggers, a wrestling ring, a timed shooting range and a parachute jump. A few activities also show up in Rockstar's own Ultimate Edition copy, which points a speedboat at Gambit Bay for fishing and bundles a kayak.

Each activity gets its own page here, built only from what Rockstar has shown or written. Where a detail is inferred from a scene rather than shown as gameplay, the entry says so, and nothing on these pages invents a reward, a location or a rule that was not on screen.

Shown so far: circuit racing at Gellhorn International Raceway, dirt bike and street racing, kayaking, scuba diving, basketball, weightlifting, backyard wrestling, a timed shooting range and base jumping, all from the Extended Look. Fishing is strongly implied by Rockstar's own Ultimate Edition copy and the closing boat scene but has not been shown as a minigame.

Can you fish in GTA 6?+

Probably. Rockstar's Ultimate Edition copy points at Gambit Bay as fishing water for the Shitzu Squalo, and the Extended Look ends with Jason, Lucia and Brian Heder on a fishing boat. Fishing gameplay itself has not been shown.

Does GTA 6 have a real race track?+

Yes. Gellhorn International Raceway, a Sebring-inspired road course outside Port Gellhorn, hosts a race in the Extended Look with a lap counter, timer and position on screen. It is the first purpose-built circuit in the series.
