At least ten artists posted GTA 6-themed imagery on their social media accounts on September 15 in what GTA BOOM, reporting the same day, described as a planned Rockstar campaign rather than a string of unrelated posts. Kotaku also covered the campaign on September 15. The artists named by GTA BOOM include Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Future, Metro Boomin, Yung Lean, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, Fred again.., PinkPantheress, Keith Richards, and Rauw Alejandro.
Each artist posted different imagery. Travis Scott's post carried the heading "PHASE 1" and the abbreviated text "J... O. H....." alongside artwork showing purple high heels on a pole. GTA BOOM read the abbreviation as a possible reference to the Jack of Hearts, Boobie Ike's Vice City strip club, though Rockstar has not confirmed this interpretation. Keith Richards posted an image of an iguana. Morgan Wallen shared a poolside image. Future, Metro Boomin, and Yung Lean each showed the rear of a purple Coquette carrying a Leonida plate. CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, Fred again.., and PinkPantheress posted yacht-themed artwork.
Rockstar has made no announcement about what any of these artists' roles are, and none confirmed directly whether they have songs on a radio station, appear as characters, or serve some other function. Kotaku noted that none of these artists had songs in last month's leaked track lists, so the full soundtrack likely runs broader than what the leaks showed. GTA BOOM's read is that September 15 is the opening stage of a music rollout running toward November 19.
